Help with 1874 Dated Medal Please?

Can anyone help with info on this medal please? I assume it to be a Veteran Association medal. Any idea as to value? Is the ribbon correct as it is normally found on the Kyffhaeuserbund medal?

You are right. Its is from the local Veterans Association of Gross Dedeleben (near Halberstand). The local association was founded in 1874.

On the medal is only given the year in which they started. The medal could be much younger than 1874.
