    I found this link for a cased example and a description according to the seller.
    I read Der Sieger Wettkämpfe (The competition winner), he reads Der sieger Weltkampfe (The Hero World War 1917), so probably he is speculating, but I agree the table medal was awarded to someone supporting an event from the War Ministry.

        The figure is the warrior Siegfried the Dragonslayer from the Nibilungenlied.

        Wettkampfe means competition and put together with the figure, I would suspect it was some sort of sports competition.

        By the way, besides being grossly over-priced, Der Rittmeister often comes up with fanciful descriptions for his wares. In this case, he obviously can't read the German properly.

          Prussian Kriegsministerium.
