The green stripes on the Pro Deo Et Patria medal have faded, but are there when you fold back the ribbon

Hi Les,

That is quite a common combination. The last medal is like the second (Ehrenkreuz f. Frontkämpfer or Hindenburg Cross) a WWI commemorative medal of Hungary.

For the value I would say:

- EK 2nd class (depending if it is marked or not), USD 30.-/ USD 45.-
- Hindenburg Cross, USD 10.-
- Hungarian WWI commemorative medal for combattants, USD 15.-

Total around no more than USD 40/60.-

Thanks for you help Claudio.

Prices are slightly different in the U.K. a WW1 E.K.2 alone sells for about £30, the other two about £8 each.

The Hungarian medal is on backwards, so slide it around so the crowned shield and swords are facing front.

If it is a pre-WW2 Hungarian issue piece rather than a German made one, it will have tiny letters "Bronze" on the rim just to the right of the suspension ring.

Yes, it does have the word bronze to the right of the ring looking at the medal with the shield facing you. I would never have noticed it.
