    Ah... but the medal bar did NOt cost me $200 (I wish!)-- that was the starting bid!

    As of Today's Retail Market, because of the vastly overpriced ribbon bar, I figure I am about $80 "ahead," figured on What My Heirs Will Get.

    But... when Actual Numbers Awarded come out on that colonial MMC2X... I expect a substantial increase in Book Price.

    Not that THAT is what I collected for... to me the "desirability" comes from the RARITY-- I know of only ONE other M1905 Bavarian MMC2X in another collection. So if my research strategy was correct and there were more like ONE hundred of them than THREE hundred....

    But then "Book Price" is largely meaningless if Item X is simply


    NOT "available" at ANY price!


    I figured the medal bar was literally a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. And it has been. Ditto on getting the ribbon bar back with it.
