    A 'Between The Wars' OrdenSpange

I have been looking for a mounted LDA 2 and this fit the bill . The Centenary medal is a bit frayed, but overall I really like this bar

    I like it too.

I know some people think of the "Zitronenorden" as the pre-WWI Hindy Cross and spurn it accordingly, but I personally like it. Plus, you can't beat the historical value since it's made up of enemy guns from all the Unification Wars.

I assume you mean between the Franco-Prussian War and WW1. A nice representative bar for a common soldier.

          a nice one.

the soldiers and the civilians called it bronzeklumpen and the long service säuferschnalle.

I love these names for medals!! Thanks for sharing! Our National Defense Medal is better know as the "I was alive in 65 Medal" Not sure if they renamed it or not.

Sorry Mauser, that is exactly how I think of the Bronzeklumpen

Do you have any references on these terms to be contemporary? I think I coined one of these two terms...
