I searched quite a bit but did not find anything about this medal; any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what it is exactly, but I guess BKB could be Bayerischer Krieger Bund, veterans organization.

Thanks for your input. I was guessing something along those lines, with the blue enamel and rampant lion.
