        The left is Hohenzollern house order, knight grade, i think, and the right Baden order of Zaehringer lion. Very nice and desirabe orders!

          Yes Valter is correct, the orders are;

          -Royal Hohenzollern House Order
          -Baden Order of Zähringer Lion II Kl with swords

          Kind regards

              Wow! GREAT finds, you really hit the jackpot!

              ...I mean, I'll give you $5 for both of them.

              Hohenzollern House Order Knight's Crosses with Swords are going for about $1000-$1300, Zährengen Lion Knight's Cross II. Class with Swords about $650-$800.

                Hello Jumper;

                And you have a pair of officer's flieger shoulderboards. If the orders alone belonged to the shoulderboards, then he was in the fliegertruppen.

                These are some nice items you picked as part of a group purchase. Did all of these items belong to the same WW2 gent? What else belonged to the group?

                A remarkable purchase considering that you didn't know what you were buying. You must have been a great price. Were the WW2 items alone worth the purchase? Did you buy them from a dealer or from the family?

                  The Flieger boards are unworn. Would it be possible to get a closer look at the fronts and backs?

                  Regards,
                  Chip

                    I think the HoH3X is a Spangestück -- a lower quality, often bronze-gilt piece meant for use on a medalbar. In this case the value is +/- $400.

                    Are there any markings on it?
                    Best regards,

                    Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

                      I defer to the master.

                      Good to know that one can pick up a Spangestück version this beautiful award and not break the bank doing it.

                          Hello,

                          Yes, I did get many nice additions both imperial and WW2. Ill have to dig up some shots of the Plume helmet.. Minty.

                          Here are some shots of the boards.. Nice shape.. no staining.

                          "per the seller" they all came from the same pilot. I have his name somewhere.

                          Where should I look or photo to see any markings on the HoH3X?

                          thanks for the comments.

                              If present the markings themselves would differ from these, but they would be on the bottom cross arm.
