    1870 EKI on Ebay

I must admit I was a little suprised by the lack of comments on this item. It looks good to me, but I don't know nearly enough about these to be sure.
    Comments?

I have watched it go from about $50 to over $900, so several people think it's good!

I looked at this one also. I see at least one of our fellow forum members is
    in on the bidding.
I know there is alot of debate over the Wagner 14 LOTH makers mark. The
price on this thing very quickly went past what I would bid on a questionble
    item.

Isn't this seller the guy who used to go by the name of Troy@stampsandcoins? If so, he is a notorious old school fake-peddler from the early days of eBay...

If I am incorrect, please let me know.

I agree with you. I was debating bidding on it as a possibility, but it went way out of what I was willing to chance on it. Now if I were sure it was good, it would have been another story...

True, it's only an indication of someone willing to spend money, not necessarily wisely.

              I believe Eric's right....

... fake peddler from the Pacific NW USA, with no shortage of fake flight badges......

If whoever bought this is on the forum, I'm sorry, but I have to give my honest opinion of this cross:

Without knowing much about these and being very skeptical of a piece like this being sold on ebay, I took the risk and bid $51. Fortunately for me (but not the high bidder) I was outbid by over $900.

That person is a fake peddler and I had asked them to send me fotos of medals that they had listed on eBay that were removed, showed them to the forum members here and all recieved a big thums down (). They are a bunch of crap and somebody just got a 3rd Degree burn right there.

There are too many reputable dealers out there for me to drop this kind of money
