A true Bavarian HERO - Lt d. R. Erwin Bruckner

This is from the collection of a collector I know. I am posting these pics and informations with his approval.

The maybe rarest combination of gallantry awards a "Bayer" could get in WWI. The holder was Lt Erwin Brucker who got the Military Merit Cross as Unteroffizier d .R., Silver AND Gold Bravery Medals as Vizefeldwebel der Reserve AND the Military Merit Order 4. Kl w/swords as Leutnant d. R.

    His unbelieveable medal-bar:

    Ribbon-bar (strange combination):

I don't know. I have no information if he was wounded. If not, he must be VERY VERY lucky!!!

              Hi Spiess,

NO, this isn't my medal-bar. As I wrote in the first posting I post these pics for another collector. I wish this would be in my collection

He got the medal bar from Bruckners daughter and he told me all the facts about Bruckner.

At the moment something like that is too expensive for me

              Viele Grueße
