    EK1 1914 opinions

    Hi all,

    Is this a original WW1 iron cross,if so wich maker could it be.
    Its a 3 piece construction with magnetic core

              In my opinion this is by Otto Schickle from after 1941. The hardware (catch, hinge, pin) and frame are identical to Schickle's L/15 marked 1939 EK1s, and the core is extremely similar to the design of Schickle's 1-piece EKs that predated this type.
