Here is a super nice original photo of German aviators with ground crew posing around an airplane. This photo has everything a collector of WWI aviation militaria / photos could want...aviators in their flight gear, aviators wearing their schirmmütze, ground crew members, and a good shot of a WWI airplane. These guys look like they mean business. I recently picked this photo up and feel fortunate to own this one.
Does anybody know what type of airplane is in the photograph? It is bristling with machine guns...two in the front and one for the observer / tail gunner.
