Because it was actually a "Charlie Chaplin imitating Adolf Hitler Look-Alike Contest" and not a band concert? Or, it was the house band at "Die Bijou" theatre in costume for the Chalie Chaplin film festival ?

No-but i did see that episdoe of "The Man Show".

No the scans-which are fuzzier than they should be beause my scanner is beginning to die, shows a Stahlhelm band @1925/6.
Interestingly-the band members are wearing a hodge-podge of almost every major style of award display-trapazoidal medal mount, Prussian style court mount, ribbon in button hole, ribbon in button hole above left pocket, standard ribbon bar and -my favorite- a miniture medal worn on the right breast in #3.
