    What are these???

Sorry, I know the scans are terrible. Can anyone i.d. this medal and the two badges? From the viewer's left to right they read...
    Left) 59. GEB. BRIGADE
Center) GRATI PRINCEPSET PATRIA CAROLVS IMPET REX / VITAM ET SANGVINEM
    Right) DURAZZO BRIG: 211: DANDAR

    Thanks for the help!

The award is the Austrian Karl Troop cross, given to all serving members of the armed forces after a specific time in WW1.
The 2 badges are cap badges indicating the unit where the soldier was from.

    Best regards

    Daniel

The Karl-Truppen-Kreuz wasn't given to all serving soldiers. It required a minimum of 12 weeks' service at the front and participation in at least one battle. Like the US Army's Combat Infantryman's Badge, it is in that area between a generic service medal and an individual decoration. After WW1, some Austrian veterans' groups adopted the Karl-Truppen-Kreuz as the only award they would routinely wear, as it demonstrated that one had been a Frontsoldat.
