Trying to learn about Imperial U-Boat badges

Hello all,

I'm new to badges, and I would like to get an Imperial U-Boat badge to go with my new Imperial Navy dagger. I'm prepared to do my homeworks, but where do I start? Anybody could give a few pointers on what book to buy; what to look for in a badge; who I should deal with?
