Help pricing Godet noncom bar, Turkish halbmond, Screwbak EK1

    Hello gents

Please can I get the assistance of members here with their fingers a bit more on the pulse than me regards the asking prices of these items.

Sorry if this appears like shameless pre-publicity - it's certainly not - but I'm looking to sell the following items on estand and am finding it very hard to find a representative price on the internet for the following pieces which I bought quite some time ago..

    1) Godet 1914 Noncombatant Bar

Hi Biro, Cant really help you on the bar and star but the Meybauer EK1 I have seen usually go for 230-430 euro. Im not really sure why there is such a wide price range with these. Hope this helps even a little.

          Hello

maybe this will help you to compare:

          non com spange:
          http://www.ebay.de/itm/180758824942?...=STRK:MEDWX:IT

halbmond usually goes around 300 - 350 euro. I watch one going to 400 euro, but it is with etui.
          http://www.ebay.de/itm/OSMANISCHES-R...item4ab10e02a2

I saw non-vaulted Meybauer in same condition than yours being sold for 401,50 euro. I watch also one vaulted (slightly worse than yours), which guy offers for 355 pounds, buy-now-style - but without effect.

          Regards

The Eiserner Halbmonds selling on eBay are being driven up by Turkish collectors, who've suddenly discovered their heritage, despite the fact that most of these badges are German-made for Germans. The prices there are not really an indication of the true market value of these among other collectors.
Your badge is a very nice example of a BB& Co. But, this is still the most common maker with thousands having been produced and in my opinion not worth more than 200-250 Euros in mint condition. Also, the one in the eBay link below is a much more finely made and scarcer variety than yours, which is reflected in the price.
But, as this is a trendy badge at the moment, with no sign of going out of fashion, you might be able to get more than I suggest.

I used to love this decoration and had dozens of variations, award documents etc. But, now sadly, they have been priced out of my league.

              Hi Marshall,

At a rough guess, 400 Euro for the non-com frack bar, 200 for the Eiserne Halbmonde and 200 for the Meyabuer EK1 (X-plate and screwnut are not silver marked and there appear to be some frame edge repairs, otherwise 250 Euro). All prices +-50 Euro.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!
