    I just found an early christmas present :-)

        No, that's the problem. I haver never seen any for sale, except this one.. So how much should one pay for one..

        I belive the glass is original too. I get it next week. It looks as it has a name on the shield.

          They turn up once in a while on German ebay, very nice display!

            That is very nice and in great condition. I don't know the currect price on these. However it is missing the felt piece that goes around the base of the dome.

              That's a great piece. Over the years we have seen maybe a half dozen
              of these posted here on the forum.

                One of the domed cases is something I'd had on my wants list for ages. I managed to pick one up off eBay a few months ago for about 125 Euro posted (domed case only), which I though was OK. Too hard to say if the dome is original but the rest look very old. I'm attaching a couple of the seller's pics (the EK itself was not included). Despite the image, the sides of the glass dome are "straight".

                      I think mine has an engraving, but It's not here yet..

                      Well, I paid twice as much for mine, incl. the EKII..

                        I've got six of them at the moment. Old pic below. Paid between 120-250E for them so I guess it's in that region. The thread starter is the second one I've seen with an engraving.

                              Well, it's here now.

                              Plate is engraved: G. Scheideler I belive.

                              Glass Dome is also original. But I don't see any felt missing..
