A friend of mine showed me this today,a one piece strike.John

Under the clip Munchen 9(Deschler)

The Deschler fake. We've seen a bunch of those over the years.
They can be found on ebay most any day. They are easy to spot
because of the pot holes in the crown and the style of the "8" in
the date.

They can be found with several different markings, "Deschler and Sohn",
"D&S", "Munchen9", "M9"and "RZM" and with different style attachments.

Thanks gents,my friend has had this a few years now and I did warn him with even my limited knowledge that it was not likely that this firm would of made 1870 EK's,now I can confirm it for him.John
