    Kmst/drgm/800 ek1

    Hey guys,

I want to post this baby before it sells. I've only ever owned one of these -- they are extremely cool!

I am no KMST expert but I think this one looks all okay. Do you all agree?

    Thanks for looking.

          KMST Slide

A very nice example, and it's getting very hard to find these examples, and a must for any Imperial Iron Cross collection.

Thank you Russel. I appreciate your feedback -- and I know you've got all the KMSTs in hand to compare

                  Alex and Frank,

                  Thanks to you both.

The mechanism for this piece in so fascinating. It fits on the standard tunic loops, but seems to be designed specifically to keep from moving around (especially up and down) like a normal pinback would. You can see in this photo how the top hook (on the left) locks against the slider to allow the cross very minimal movement on the tunic, which I suppose is the purpose of this closure.

                  Best regards,
                  Streptile

That's a beauty Trev and I count myself among the lucky ones to have one.

But I fail to understand the reason for designing such an elaborate clasp when a pin back does the same thing for, I'm sure, less cost.

                        No red flags here.
Looks like a match to mine.

                        So Trevor,
You must be looking to finance something special ?
