copies sold for ridiculus prices

These two medals went for more than 100 euros on german e-bay, although clearly classified as copies. It could be some logic for such a price for rare and never seen Bamberg medal, but what about baden long service cross? Is it maybe an original, falsely sold as copy or what? Am I missing something?

I have also seen some really bad copies, such as Goede, going for ludicrous high prices lately.

Definitely seen the same.. we had a good link below and following the auctions of this one guy.. unreal.. He made $300 on junk...

Agree with Rommel, but "My" guy is openly confessing he's selling repros ("Sammleranfertigung").

Very True Valter! I think its about time I sell some off my reproductions I "accidentally" bought. As long as I advertise I believe they are reproductions it is ethical and morale.

I'm not sure if it's good or fake, but the long service cross, however, is not from Baden, but from Anhalt.

Amazing... than you for the postings.. I am about to sell off my reproductions /fakes in my collection in a few weeks. It might be more advantageous to sell on ebay as "known reproductions" than sell on estand here... I can't believe what people paid for advertised reproductions! thank you, Scott
