1813 Ekii

Hi Dez,

attached is one of my 1813 EKII's I promised to post.

It belonged to an enlisted man, Jacob Nagel, and is a '1st series' award. The lower arm has caved in, which is why the date is missing. The ribbon is also original. I also have his award document, signed by General Fredrich Otto von Diercke (see page 41 of "The Iron Time" for a similar doc)

I like the cross and the document, one suggestion. If your cardboard backing is not acid-free archive material, you should remove it from the document!
