Let's just say you did have a time machine in 2002. If you were able to go back in time, one USD would get you 4.21 RM. In other words, a nifty 1870 EK2 with change left over for a beer.
According to my handy inflation calculator, the equivalent of that $1 you spent in 1932 would be $11.38 in the year 2002!
Very few, just basic line drawings.
It ranges from Flags, medals cushions, page of medlas, funeral wreaths, chinese lanterns with swastikas, drums, flagpole tops etc. etc.
Just wanted to point out, that when folks say "hmmm, I only like Wagner 1870 EK1s... " ... well, VFK was making them into the 1930s.. are they original? how would you recognise one? It kinda opens a can of worms (in my mind..) how many other firms were making 1870 EKs back then?

Thats true, Chris. I think, the lack of this 30ies crosses results through the lack of possible weares in this period.
I think, we will never know, how many firms made 1870 EKs. Probably we would be surprised. Maybe VFK was just a retailer for other firms. I don´t know this firm. Do you know of badges of medals with their maker mark?
