    EKI & EKII Makers

    Good Day

    We can easily discovered that there are many maker's mark available in EKI and EKII, such as "W", "Fr", "KO", etc.

    Could any one have the information for the makers?

    Thanks
    BP

    Hi Bryan
    You mean the maker’s name corresponding to the initial found on the EK?
    eg G = Godet
    There was a thread ages ago entitled “EKII definitive list” for the EK makers list but I can’t seem to track it down.

        Most of the 1914 (and earlier) EKs are either unmarked (save for maybe a silver content) or only carry the maker's name or initials. Most are unknown, but two of the known ones are:

        G = Godet
        WS = Wagner & Sohn

        However, for 1939 EKs, use this link. It is a complete list of makers and their marks:

            I have an additional question.....hope both gentlemans (or other) can help me, Is there any different between the maker initial "Fr" and "FR"?

            Cheers
