    Hanson EK1

    Got this beauty in the mail yesterday. I have decided to focus on collecting EKs now. There is a little rust but I still like it alot

            I remember this picture. I believe this was part of the hoard that DN bought
            up. Berry at Emedals had half a dozen of them. I think he might have
            one still listed on his site.

                Nice cross Lee. Rust seems to be common on this type.

                I have decided to focus on collecting EKs now.

                  Rust is a way good way to tell if it was part of the hoard that was
                  found some years back. The box sat in wet conditions. The crosses
                  at the top were in very good condition and the further down you got,
                  the rustier they got. Some had cores that were really bad.

                    Thanks Trevor It was a tough decision to make but it became logical to focus on EKs since thats what Im most interested in and I cant afford to collect everything.
