This is an 'out of the woodwork' piece so I can't imagine it not being right but it's very lightweight and thin seeming to me. Thought I'd post for comments. Is this a known maker/pattern? Thanks in advance for looking.

Imo 100% original with silver plated tombak frames. Other examples are know (with hardware variations) but from memory the maker is unknown. Period probably 20s but could be wartime through 30s.

Very nice original piece. I have the exact maker attributed to Major Granier. He was awarded a 2nd class field conversion until he could get an official piece. He had three "official" ones and the conversion. I was given the conversion and the one below. His other one was engraved on the reverse and the last one was a KO marked cross. It would be nice to know who made these. A quality piece
