Age of a veterans badge

does anybody has an idea how old this veterans badge could be? I would date it in the early 1920th. or even earlier. What do you think?

Based on the typography and a couple of other factors, I'd guess post W.W.II. The reverse would likely tell the tale.

Don't know about the age but the inscription sounds more religious than military. 25 years perfect Sunday School attendance?
