    Regimental Pipe assistance

Found this pipe this morning, can anyone tell me where I can go to find mor info on this. Are these collectible like steins? it's a good size one and it came with two bowls, one of a horse on it the other is the regimental, the to moth piece has a small imperial button tied on it. Thanks

The rgimental bowl is dated 1914 on the reverse. Here are a couple other pics.

There should be some more information on the reverse side of the regimental pipe bowl.

Chip, I know there is, I'm just trying to find out what exactly I have here as far as rarity, more unit history and value. Imperial stuff isn't my main thing and this came accross my path, first one I have ever encountered so I'm trying to find out more about them.

Fritz, these pipes are highly collectible, and a sub-venue of collecting in their own right. You have a really nice one there.

Thanks! It's a pretty nice one, I have found a few but they are short, this one measures around 36 inches long.

Is the regimental pipe bowl Calvary related? Not seen a military pipe with a metal horse incorporated into the stem and the horse related bowl seems to be a better match to the stem than the regimental bowl. here are a few I have Mike

I don't think so, but the mouth piece part has a military button attached to it, I'll try and get a closeup pic of it.
