It just keeps going on. Included are photos of British crews brought on board prior to sinking and finally the owner's photo of himself in 1917 after being awarded the EKII. Sadly this site is a bit too burdensome to load multiple photos.

Daniel thank you. With a total of sixty three photos it just goes on and on. Here are two more. The first includes a photo of some guys with some freshly gotten meat which I can imagine was much appreciated on a long cruise.

Very nice. You just don't see many uboot albums for obvious reasons.

Something like this needs to preserved for posterity, IMO.

If I had something like this I think I'd try to scan each photo individually and upload them all to some sort of website or blog-like thing slowly adding specifics as information trickles in making this a sort of time capsule that future generations can admire or be informed by.

Odds are, despite the best will in the world this will be broken or destroyed. It needs to be recorded now.

                            What do you think?
                            Thanks,

I have a German photo album that spans from 1905 to 1942. I scanned all the photos, front and back in large format. I'll keep the album together but like you said, no guarantees what will happen in the future. Hopefully the CD's I burn will outlast the album. Gary
