    1899 shooting award

I believe this is the annual shooting award for 1899.
    Anybody has more info?
To which regiment was it awarded that year?

    Thanks!

    Dmv,

With a "king's" crown, rather than an imperial crown, this would be a Bavarian, Württemberg or Saxon badge. It was given to the best shooting company in each army corps. The Bavarians had three corps, the Saxons had three (they included the XV corps due to some of their regiments being garrisoned there) and the Württembergers one corps. So there would be a total of seven companies awarded for 1900. There is no way to tell which company/regiment your badge is from.

        That would be the "Kaiser-Schießpreis."

The name, in this case, would be "Königsabzeichen". The Kaiser-Schießpreis was the award for the companies in the regiments that had the Kaiser as the regimental Chef. It was a shoulder cord, rather than a sleeve patch.
