This old veteran is wearing what we presume is the lapel pin of his local veterans' association, a single mounted WW1 Ludwig Cross, a single mounted (!!!--others of his comrades did this too!!!) Kyffhäuserbund Members' Medal, The Mystery Medal, and Weimar period Bavarian 25 Years Volunteer Fire Department Long Service Medal over a Prinz Alfons Decoration 2nd Class.
I suspect the third medal may be a regimental jubilee award--will start a separate thread on another one that looks similar.
