I picked this up yesterday.

I have never seen one of these. I have seen regimental steins and such... but a hand painted porcelain plate... anyone ever seen one of these? Shame about the crack.

Interesting artist's rendering of Wilhelm's HoH Commander's Cross, with a medallion resembling a Red Eagle.

hard to tell from these pics but the portrait could be a print. You can find several oil prints from this time. The green border seems hand painted though.

it`s definitely a print. it`s made from villeroy and boch a very good german
porcelain factory. the factory is still running here in germany.
