Princely House Order of Hohenzollern - cross or medal?

Just won this ribbon bar, and I'm curious as to which version(s) of the Fürstlich Hohenzollernscher Hausorden the middle ribbon is.

Are they all on the same ribbon with the same device?

      Thanks,

Yup, all the same, just sometimes to denote by other awards around what class it is. Silver medal to Honor Cross 2nd class used the same ribbon and the same golden swords.

        Best regards

          Thanks!

Were the awards based on rank?

            Chris,
Here is what I can add to this. Perhaps this is from the same guy. The Nazi 25 year was added on and not part of the original medal bar. The ribbon bar was made as a 4 place. The awards seem to be for an enlisted man. This is the only item that I have ever won from Detlev and I have loved it since I opened the package.

If only the other awards on the bar weren't so hideously commonplace...

              Thanks for sharing your pictures!

Hi, Does anyone know what number this medal have in the Nimmergut
                Orden & Ehrenzeichen ?
I can´t find it but i suppose that it should be there.
I just bought a ribbonbar with EK+Non fighter Hindenburg+ Hohenzollern
without swords ? Is this anoncombat version ?

                Best regards from confused collector

                  hy,
                  isn't it 1039 ?
could be! because the medal was also awarded without the swords!
nice bar - but a bit uncommon way of wearing!

And for what was this medal awarded? Bravery or long service ?
A non fighting guy with ek and HMM, if the ribbons only could tell the story behind them......

I have some information on this decoration I got from the Schloss Sigmaringen. I'll post it when I get home.
