Real Blue Max

I have one of the Re-Po's that sold years ago . Recently, a friend of mine showed me a shadow box with a bunch of WW1 stuff, that was brought back by a 42nd Division vet. In there was a Blue Max !! Now mine looks like the one on Wikipedia, but his looked like a maltese cross with a different suspension like the WW2 Knights Cross. He said that he had heard that they made some up for WW1 occupation forces. Does anyone have a pic or set of pics of the real Blue Max?? I'd like to see them !! Thanks for your time, BB
