Hi Thierry,

We have here a LtGen with the RAO2 with oaks and swords, the Saxon Albert Commander 1<SUP>st</SUP> class with swords and the Austrian MMC 2<SUP>nd</SUP> class. Medal bar has the EK, a KO3, XXV, Centenary, maybe Hessen General Honor award, Hamburg Hanseatenkreuz and a Hessen Philipp peacetime.
I suppose it is either<O</O
Lutz Louis Arthur Julius von Dewitz, (its not the whole Family, it is just him) LtGen, born 1857, died 1939, was 1914 Colonel in InfRgt 21, ended up as Cdr 71th InfBrig, he had also a peacetime Albert knight but this would have been replaced by the Commanders class.<O</O
Or Julius von Kleinschmit, LtGen, born 1862, died 1942, in 1914 Colonel of FüsRgt 38, ended up as Cdr. 30<SUP>th</SUP> InfBrig.<O</O
Both had the Red Eagle, KO3, XXV, Centenary and the Hessen peacetime and nothing else on the medal bar. Militärwochenblatt does not confirm the Saxon Albert and the Austrian MMC, but I could exclude all the others around and came down to this 2 names. If somebody with a Saxon Albert roll can confirm the Albert I think we can nail him down.
