EKI 1914, Wiederholungsspange, EKI 1939

Hello guys,

I found this EKI 1914 with a Wiederholungsspange, 1939, early production with iron core on a dealer site.

Is there anybody who can tell me if this is a genuine one?

yes it is a good one from the 1957 production, made by Steinhauer & Lück (IMO).

As this is a 1957 Version, I´d rather post it here

Beside this, I can´t tell from the pics (beading comparison is the most important in my opinion, as there are several fake-crosses out there that are damn close to a real S&L WW2/1957 EK1). But I never came across ANY fake EKs on Kalies website, that weren´t delcared as such. He knows what he sells, at least in the 1914 EK area.

Not necessarily -- only some have this. It is probably a locator mark for the bottom of the award so the assembler can place the catch properly.

Oh, I've always think that this is an maker mark... Everyday you learn something new
