EK1 1914 "750 T.RUDOLPF" good?

    I don't care for this cross. The one shown at the top of the thread.

    The hinge assembly is so heavily polished that the barrel tube is just about losing it's integrity it's so thin in places.

    I haven't been able to find any other EK I or II or for that matter any other German medal or decoration with a 750 silver stamp.

    The name and silver stamp are haphazardly placed on the pin. From the picture the marks look to be etched rather than stamped. Maybe in hand they may look different.

    Lastly , why is there so much polishing high up on the inside of the pin and the hinge assembly when the rest of the frame doesn't have the same level of polishing?

    As I mentioned above, I wouldn't care for this cross in my collection.

    Just some thoughts.
