      Very interesting array of medals indeed... I would have like to see the original bar of Veit. But he was over 50 in 1913, what or who could save/rescue? Maybe some Ottoman belly dancer beauty in a Sultan's harem...

          This is very interesting thread, I would like to bring it up and share a ribbon bar that I have found lately which beleived to be Veit's bar. Please feel free to discuss and share your thought.

              Interesting bar. The ribbons do not match the devices, but it seems to be very well made. I am curious to hear more opinions of this piece.

                      Very interesting!

                      So orders such as the RAO, HoH, and KO could be issued on the orange and white ribbon as lifesaving decorations?

                      Really interesting information, also new to me.

                          An photo album of Officers from Ulanen Reg14 was sold on ebay couple of years ago, it contains photo of both Oberst Georg Veit and his son Ltn. Otto Veit, interesting that the father and son were serving in the same unit.
