    Ribbon vs award combination problem

    Hi,
    i got this ribbon yesterday and im not sure what it is but i think it´s a peacetime ribbon to the Bavarian Military Merit Cross

    According to this picture (see below) the ribbon C (mine i think) is for peacetime and D is the war ribbon.

    "C= Militärverdienstorden Frieden, 3.+4. Kl.
    D= dito Krieg"
    http://www.lah-junkershof.de/seiten/...zeichen_04.htm

    Does this mean that i can put my ribbon on any Bavarian Military Merit Cross 3rd Class or does it have to be one without the swords?

    P.S. The ribbon doesent glow under blacklight but if you think the ribbon is bad anyway please say so.

    Thanks for reading my confusing post, it late and i tired.

    Damn it, i just saw that my picture is out of focus, sorry for that folk.

    This is the only ribbon the order (and merit cross) used until 1913, so you can put any pre-1913 cross to it. Or one of the hand full 1913/14 pre-war awards...

        I have some small doubts about the originality of the ribbon that could be settled by a focused photo. I don't see loops on the right side.

        Best regards,

          Unfortunately i dont have acces to a real camera for a couple of days but maybe these pictures will help?

          P.S. The ribbon is very soft, like silk.
