    Jäger Arm Patch?

    Hello collectors,

am I looking at a Kaiserschiesspreis or is it a Königsschiesspreis for Jäger?
after some research I came to the solution that because of the Crown it must be a Kings shooting award. Is this correct?

It says 1913 on the skull.
what would be a reasonable Price to get this Arm Shield?
    Thanks alot
    Andreas

      Hello Stefan,

thanks for the Link...seems there is not much interest in these Shields, because not really many replys to your thread from 2010.

any Idea what the above Shield can be worth? found nothing similar on the Dealer Sites.

      thanks

              Andreas,

You are correct. This means it must be a Saxon example, because the backing cloth is dark green. Bavarian Jägers also used the king's crown, but they backing cloth would have been a light blue. In 1913 the 4th company of Jäger Battalion Nr. 13 won the prize. These two Jäger are from that company.
