This RAO4mK is weird in that the enamel is not present in the crown. I have compared this one to a Wagner piece I have, and they are identical except for this.

enamel broken and removed? I just bought my first RAO4mK, but it has not arrived yet.

Unfortunately, since I can not say much. The crown looks as if it were re-soldering. Can you show you a large picture of the crown?

Here are some close-ups. Mike, I've looked at it under a loupe, and it appears to have been resoldered at some point, so I'm thinking maybe an old repair?Comment

Mmmmmh, it looks very strange, but I also think it is old and repaired. Sure, you can say that but probably not more.
