Here is the Prinzen that I found at SOS this year,
it is 32 mm wide, looks like a cast iron core, ....any idea on the maker?

        Nice one Alikn!

Did you already have that one when you stopped by?

It was good to see you again.

Thaks! Nice to see you back here Tony! No, I didn't have it when I stoped by, but I had it when I saw you guys looking at that L/12 KC, .... you were to busy and I had to go catch a plane.....

Very nice one Alik. I have no idea of the maker, other than to say that I do not think it's a Deumer (as I told you at the show). Carl, our local Prinzen expert, may know, but I think he's "swimming with the fishes" -- literally

Really nice to meet you there, and sorry I never made it over to W/H table to see the combos. I got caught up buying an EK1 and then you weren't there.
            Best regards,

Should've been at the SOS instead of taking pics of boring Sharks and Pygme Seahorses, would be very nice to meet the 3 of you!

Don't think i saw this version before Alik but the Crown and crosshatched corners reminds me of something. Don't have acess to the "Prinzen files" from here but will definately have a look later.

All in all it looks like a good one.

How does the core compare to this one?

Side by side, oaks detail and date looks close, but the crown is slightly different.

Alik, have a look at these 1870 Prinzen:

                      Still working on the frame.

Alik, old thread but frames remind me of one used on a Frauen & Jungfrauen. Need to have a closer look at pics later, they are on another harddrive.

On the reverse side beside the lower corner of the crown there is a flaw what looks like a blob or was it intentionally put on the core before being painted?
