    these are all the pics i have. the core is non-magnetic so perhaps Kriegsmarine, the box is obviously a repro. what do you think? thank you

    The entire thing is a well-known fake.

    Also, non-magnetic crosses were not made (or intended) for Marine units.

        thank you! if it was real, is there any significance of a non-magnetic core? or is this just a variation...

          As the others have said, it's definitely not genuine.

          There are genuine EKs with non-mag cores (brass, zinc, one-piece nickel-silver examples) but the "brass cores were for sailors" story is just that - a story. I've had an early 1939EK1 with a brass core from a Heer vet.
