The entire thing is a well-known fake.
Also, non-magnetic crosses were not made (or intended) for Marine units.Best regards,

As the others have said, it's definitely not genuine.
There are genuine EKs with non-mag cores (brass, zinc, one-piece nickel-silver examples) but the "brass cores were for sailors" story is just that - a story. I've had an early 1939EK1 with a brass core from a Heer vet.
