the core is seen in ww1 crosses (IMO). However I see a mark on the ring, what is it?

Yes, you 're right core seems that one already seen in some WWI EKIIs and yes the m.m. seems ED ! great !
I add a pic of the stamp.

What do you think about this frame ? comes from WWI ? it don't seem in silver to me.
