1914 EK II made 1939 ?? exists such a thing?

Hi there,
i have been wondering, if a WW1 Vet wanted to replace its EK1 in late 30's he could buy a new one with the known wider frame like the 1939 EK's. I own three of these, wich i find very interesting.
But i never (i mean NEVER) came across a EK2 1914 in this variation of 1939. So did i just miss them for the last 11 Years? since i collect or doesnt exist such a thing.
If you have, please post some examples and let me know about, Makers, Fakes, Price etc.

Jup, you missed them. There are several types, but have a look at this for example I guess it´s from Juncker as it uses a Juncker/AWS core.

None of the EKs in the thread linked to above were made during WWII.
