That has to be the worst looking core I've ever seen

          not original...

I really like the Ritterkreuz loop on top and the extra brass ring to make it on "EKII"

          .

In my opinion this one is an original jubilee type. They are always quite poorly made, and the unusual jumpring attachment was made (in my opinion) specifically for attaching a kind of oakleaf device.

I have one of these myself, also very rough. Since I can't find the photos at this moment, I'll show one that sold through Detlev Niemann last year. This is what they are supposed to look like when they're in decent condition:

Needless to say these examples go for about half the price of a good Type A or Type B EK2. I have never seen an EK1 of this type.

                  Not a fan.
I vaguely remember the discussion on the first one of these we saw.
I wasn't a fan then and I'm not one now.

The 1914s that have be labeled theater props have better detailed cores than
                  this one.

But hay, -----------I've been wrong before.

HERE is a decent thread on the type, and here are some more examples.

And finally another one sold by Detlev Niemann and described as as made "around 1900":

I have one of these Jubilee types, but the core details are far superior to the example shown. I didn't realize that this type had such a variance in quality.

Thanks for the opinions and the extra information provided

Not the nicest but an ´´original´´Jubilee.

                        Best regards

I believe this is one mounted on a bar.

                            Hi Don,

That is really big (and good) news to me -- and yes, it does seem to be the same type.

Can you tell if the cross has the weird double-loop frame at the top?

                            Is the bar yours?
                            Best regards,

A couple of years ago two bars went up for sale on US ebay, both of which had the Jubilee cross on them. I believe one was a frackspange.
