    AWS / Juncker EK2

    Ive just arrived home from work to find a nice packet on the doorstep

    Looks to me to be of the AWS / Juncker type just managed a few snaps before dusk, ive had it literally 20 minutes

      Love this one Mike. I have one coming as well. Can't get enough of them. I'm a bit crunched for time so I can't look up all the threads but I believe a post Trev made tells us this is either the 2nd or 3rd J/AWS core used.

      Anyone, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

          I'm flattered.

          I do love these crosses. I have quite a few of them by now, and I just recently got a 925 marked 3rd core EK2.

            In my opinion, the first (from 1914). Although I'm not 100% certain others weren't used simultaneously, I am extremely confident this was the earliest core AWS used in WWI. It was in spotty use by Juncker at the beginning of WWII as well.

              Yes Trevor, thanks for posting that pic. I guess I mentally had them reversed. I had thought the 3rd was one and one was the third
