Bernie, I struggle to identify makers consistently but as Trevor can verify I seem to stare at cores more than I should

I'm not a Godet expert (but they are my favorite maker!) but I feel like this is not a Godet, or, at least it is a core that I personally haven't seen. Of course, that doesn't mean much

At any rate, I hope someone else can weigh in and it works out for you.

Ok guys, let me get this straight: it's not a Godet.

Hard to say if it's a Godet, at least for me. The core details are not as sharp and well-defined as they should be for a Godet. But this is just IMO and I could be wrong. Does anyone else feel the same way?

It's not a core I've seen Godet use, and the frame doesn't seem to be the right shape, but much better straight-on in focus pics are needed for me personally to say anything for sure. On the plus side the mark looks good and the cross looks like it could be an S-W, who had a thingy with Godet as we now know (but have yet to explore fully).
