    I was hoping......

I thought I might have been able to get this miniature of the Hessen Warrior Decoration in Iron to go with it's big brother.

Check out the price it went for!

That'll teach me to get my hopes up.

Man, thats nothing. It´s expensive, but it´s possible to afford this money. Look at the higher priced items.

When I once saw the 1870 EK2/EK1 combined class cross (private purchase made from solid gold and with white enamel on the "frame") I know I wanted to have that. It was released at Niemanns Update. Now it´s on emedals, for twice-triple the money. Now I won´t be able to afford this for years. And when I once got the money, I´m sure I´ll be gone. THATS depressing.

I once bed 30€ for a simple WW1 patriotic postcard that was worth maybe 3€? but hey, I wanted to have it and I didn´t care about the price, especially because I was able to afford it with ease. I bought from sellers as well (and you know, the items are sold for 2/3 of the price from collector to collector).

That´s life. If you want it, you get it. If you don´t really want to have it, you place low biddings.

    No offence, through

Prices have been crazy lately, especially on German ebayI bought some documents recently for 125.00 each, and have seen them going on ebay for 4-500.00 each. You really have to hunt for the deals these days.

I guess you didn't want it as badly as the other guy. How often do you see them?

What are the letters of the Monogram? Someone posted one of these and did not know what it was awhile back in another area of the forum.

              No offence taken Krall.

I know how it works but I was surprised still at how much it went for. It's true that it is only the second one I have seen for sale.

              Next time maybe!

Very rare, appears to be of excellent quality... in my opinion, as a mini collector, high but not unreasonable.
