        Fantastic photo!

He wears a gun and is in the trenches. I wouldn't think he is a "Non Combattant"

        Minis are nice also

        Best regards,
        Michel

              Great chain.

Interesting that the Hindy is post 1941 manufacture.

Nice Godet buttonback style, too. Not a commonly seen one.
              Best regards,

                  Great mini EK.

That is the first time I have seen an enamel Non-com ribbon used
                  like that.

Absolutely! I cannot recall ever having seen this non combatant device before. This has to be a very rare find.

Obviously all that they had to do was change the color on the more frequently seen schleife device that we often see on Red Eagles 3rd class. Obviously having the necessities available, it is interesting that we haven’t seen more of these.

                    A real keeper, congratulations,

Unlikely. Those who were in "Feindesland" (enemy's country) would qualify for combattant EK, the actual non-combattants also. The EK on n-c ribbon was for those who stayed within Germany.

                      Nice one, though!

Ron, I have a ring that will work for that. Measure the O.D. of one of the other rings, and measure the thickness of the wire and I'll send you one to match. Gary

You are very thoughtful and quite generous.

sweet! No-not a frontline medic's minibar. That belonged to a home service officer-one of fewer than 3,000 or so to Heimatsmilitarbeamten/officeren. My guess- a Doctor at one of the Berlin hospitals.
