1870 bar question

Hi,

got this 1870 standard bar with Kdm and CM. However there is a third hook, no ribbon.

What would be appropriate / possible?

1) a 1870/71 cross mit got fuer koenig und Vaterland;
2) a kriegerverein 1886 cross;
3) a Schuetzenmedal with Wilhelm 1 (I always liked these and now I would have a reason to put it on a bar )

Please let me know your thoughts/ suggestions

It's my opinion that this was used as a (quite large) two place bar, and the third hook remained empty.

was that common practice? Somewhere I remember seeing bars like this with a non official award (garde something), can't just remember.

I agree. We see only two ribbons, spaced very widely.
