I read that with the correct fittings these can be $1000 crosses I ask what value you'd put on this one in repaired condition... i'd be quite interested to know for future reference

That is true. But like this, I would say less than a standard EK1 pinback. After all, it's the complicated reverse hardware of these types that fetches in excess of $1K, and yours doesn't have it... Sorry, Mike. Still a nice cross!

looks like yours was the "Mouse trap" before the needle was added, judging from the positions of the two removed pins,
